PCR testing booth

We jointly developed a simple booth used for PCR tests to investigate COVID-19 infections in Niigata Prefecture, while listening to the opinions of healthcare professionals.

PCR tests involve inserting a swab into the nose to collect samples, which poses a risk of healthcare workers being exposed to the patient's droplets. By using a simple booth, it becomes possible to collect samples while reducing the risk of contact with droplets, allowing work to be done without wearing protective clothing, which also leads to cost savings.
